The Challenge

Building sites always involves writing the same components from scratch — buttons, headers, footers, contact forms, project cards. Each one takes hours to build correctly with accessibility, responsiveness, and dark-mode polish. There was no lightweight library that was opinionated enough to look great immediately, yet flexible enough to customize.

The Solution

Piece UI — a focused, dark-first component library shipping components. Components are exported as both CommonJS and ESM, fully typed, and styled with Tailwind. Two options for usage: npm install piece-ui or copy the source directly. No configuration required.
